\"BookshelvesA room stuffed with all your favourite books, and amidst such decor, there is a cozy couch stuffed with cushions, beside the couch there is a small side table where you can keep your coffee mug after sipping it at regular intervals, this will be exactly a paradise for a book lover. But dedicating a whole room for books is not always possible. In the architectural layouts of the modern urban structures, there is a scarcity of space, due to which there may be some limitations with the d\u00e9cor. But this constraint in space cannot limit your love for books. In my article, I will discuss some bookshelves design for home d\u00e9cor.<\/p>\n

The books come in various shapes, sizes, colours, some are hard paper, while other paper covers, and if you are a voracious reader, then there can be thousands of various kinds of books in your home. Keeping all the books in proper order so that the home looks nice too, is quite a challenge. But after reading the post, I am sure you will be able to face the challenge easily.<\/p>\n

6 Bookshelves design ideas\u00a0for home<\/h2>\n

In the next couple of paragraphs, I will be giving you some simple and effective ideas by which you can keep the books in proper order and also utmost care, and your home will look good too. Scroll down the page to know more.<\/p>\n

  1. Dedicate a wall:<\/strong> In your whole house, you can dedicate a wall completely for the books, if not a room. The wall will have a simple checkered wall cabinet where you can keep all the books in proper. In front of the cabinet, you can keep a ladder may be so that you can reach the books of the higher racks, and also a couch or a cozy chair where you can sit and read. Keep the chair near the racks so that you can get the books easily without much effort.<\/li>\n
  2. Under the sitting places:<\/strong> This can be a bit tricky and also unique. There are various kinds of sitting places in your home, the sofa, the couch, the chairs and also the bed. These things can also have a hidden storage underneath them where you can keep books. In these places you can stash some of the books, even if your apartment is small like 1BHK. Keep the reading spirit alive within you, however small the apartment is.<\/li>\n
  3. The corner shelves:<\/strong> The corners of the rooms often go unnoticed and ignored when it comes to home d\u00e9cor. The corners of the rooms can be converted to efficient storing places. In the market, there are various kinds of corner shelves which are available; you can choose any one as per your choice. Keep the books in proper order in these corner shelves, and your room will look beautiful.<\/li>\n
  4. Under the stairs:<\/strong> The place underneath the stairs is a highly ignored area and you can turn this space in a comfortable reading haven for yourself. Install a rack in this place, and keep all the books. The shape and size of this cabinet will be according to the size of the steps, and also the size of the space available.<\/li>\n
  5. Below the table:<\/strong> You will have a centre table, or a study table in your home, do not just use these tables as table tops, but install sets of drawers under them where you can store all your nooks. You can then get some extra space where you can keep all your favourite books handy.<\/li>\n
  6. Box bed:<\/strong> These kinds of beds are very popular in the markets as people often buy them due to the lack of spaces in their homes. In these kinds of beds, the box shaped drawers are attached to the beds, so that you can keep some extra items. In my home, I have a box bed in my room, where there are two drawers, in one I keep the bedding items like the pillows and mattresses, and in other I keep my favourite books. I lie down on the bed, open the drawer, take out my favourite book and start reading. This is so handy, I do not have to get up from bed top get hold of my book, and this procedure is very useful for a very lazy person like me!!<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
