And, as far as updating Aadhaar address (or Aadhaar card address) is concerned, you can get it done both online and offline. According to UIDAI, using the online self-service facility for updating Aadhaar address, you can only correct or update your Aadhaar address, when you have a validated mobile number attached to your Aadhaar number. And therefore, if in case, your mobile number is not attached or linked to your Aadhaar number, then you may not be able to avail the online service for updating Aadhaar address online, and you have to get your mobile number linked to the Aadhaar number offline. With the final approval, your address will get updated successfully on the Aadhaar card. This app is available for both\nAndroid and iOs users. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The top features of this new\nAadhaar app are as follows:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>If you have the mAadhaar\napp in your smartphone, there is no need to carry the hard copy of the Aadhaar\ncard with you all the time<\/li><li>mAadhaar is multilingual\nand supports 13 languages that includes English and 12 other Indian languages\nlike Hindi, Urdu, Bengali, Odia, Tamil, Telegu, Malayalam, Gujarati, Kannada,\nMarathi, Punjabi and Assamese. <\/li><li>Not only can this app be\nused to update address but also for all Aadhaar related services like verifying\nAadhaar, verifying mail\/email, retrieving UID\/EID, requesting for Address\nValidation Letter and checking the status of the online requests.<\/li><li>You may add a maximum of 3\nprofiles in your phone. You will require a proper\ninternet connection for downloading data from UIDAI. <\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3>What are the documents required for updating Aadhaar address?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>If you already have an Aadhar number\/card\nbut want to change or update your Aadhaar address, then you will be required to\nsubmit one of the following documents:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>Voter ID,<\/li><li>Ration Card<\/li><li>Passport<\/li><li>Driving License<\/li><li>Passbook\/ Bank statement\/\nPost Office account statement<\/li><li>Government photo ID cards<\/li><li>Electricity bill (It should\nnot be more than 3 months old)<\/li><li>Water bill (It should not\nbe more than 3 months old)<\/li><li>Landline phone bill (It\nshould not be more than 3 months old)<\/li><li>For rural areas-\nCertificate of Address that is issued by Village Panchayat head<\/li><li>Vehicle registration\ncertificate<\/li><li>Income tax assessment order<\/li><li>Credit card statement (It\nshould not be more than 3 months old)<\/li><li>Receipt of property tax (It\nshould not be more than 3 months old)<\/li><li>Insurance document<\/li><li>Arms license<\/li><li>NREGS job card<\/li><li>Pensioner card<\/li><li>Kissan passbook<\/li><li>Freedom fighter card<\/li><li>Registered lease\/sale\/rent agreement<\/li><li>ECHS\/CGHS card<\/li><li>Photo containing address\ncard issued by Department of Posts<\/li><li>Caste and domicile\ncertificate with photo issued by State Government<\/li><li>Gas connection bill (It\nshould not more than 3 months old)<\/li><li>Address certificate with\nphoto issued by MLS or MP on letterhead<\/li><li>Handicapped medical\ncertificate\/ Disability ID card issued by state\/ UT government\/ administration<\/li><li>Passport of the spouse<\/li><li>Passport of parents (for\nthe minors)<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3>How to update Aadhaar card address and information offline?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>By using online self service feature,\nyou can only update Aadhaar address. In order to update other information like\ncorrection in date of birth, linking mobile number, updating biometric\ninformation etc, you must visit a nearby Aadhaar Seva Kendra. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Most of the private and public\nbanks, post offices have a dedicated Aadhaar seva Kendra, that you can visit to\nget your information updated in Aadhaar card. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Obviously, you have to fill up the\nAadhaar correction form and submit required proof of identification and proof\nof address as needed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>While filling up the form, just\nkeep in mind that:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>You need to enter the\ninformation that is correct and not what is mentioned in your Aadhaar card.<\/li><li>You need to have\nself-attested copies of proofs which will validate your update request.<\/li><li>Then submit the correction\nform along with the documents.<\/li><li>For each visit to the\nAadhaar Enrolment Center for correction or update, the applicant usually has to\ngive 25 rupees as service fees. <\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>You may also update or change your\ndetails by sending the request to UIDAI through the post. Here is what you need\nto do:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>At first, you need to\ndownload the Correction \/Aadhaar Data Update Form online<\/li><li>Fill up the details that\nyou want to change<\/li><li>Arrange for the photocopies\nrequired for validating the changes<\/li><li>Send the form along with\nthe documents to the below mentioned postal address<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>UIDAI, <\/strong>Post Box No. 10, Chhindwara, Madhya Pradesh- 480001, India<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Or <strong>UIDAI<\/strong>, Post Box No. 99, Banjara Hills, Hyderabad- 500034, India&nbsp;&nbsp; <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4>Over to you<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Aadhaar card is a very important\ndocument for the Indian residents. And therefore it is important that we keep all\nthe information in Aadhaar updated.
